Once more, I couldn't paint very regularly, and tomorrow I am leaving for a fortnight, so I suppose I won't be able to continue the challenge.

Le Ladakh est un district situé dans l'extrême Nord de l'Inde, plus précisément dans l'état du Cachemire. Les principales villes de ce disctrict sont Leh et Kargil, qui se trouvent respectivement à 3500 et 2800m d'altitude. Toute cette région se trouve dans la chaîne himalayenne. Le Ladakh est une partie de l'Inde très différente du reste du pays puisque très proche du Tibet. Preuve en est le surnom de “Petit Tibet” fréquemment donné à cette région .

Ladakh is the highest plateau situated in the very North of India, in the state of Kashmir.Sometimes it is called "little Tibet". The 2 main cities are Leh and Kargil which stay at an altitude of  3500 and 2800m.

Non, je ne mange pas de cerises en hiver. Celles-ci ont dû être cueillies en juin dernier.

Je pense continuer sur cette série de portraits jusqu'au jour 7, environ. J'ai déjà commençé plusieurs natures mortes pour la semaine prochaine. En effet, je ne suis jamais satisfaite avec le travail accompli en une journée, il me faut revenir dessus au moins le  lendemain. Je ne terminerai pas ce challenge , cependant , dans les temps. Nous partons le 15 de ce mois pour revenir le 30.
I think about going on this portrait serie until day 7. I begun several still lives for next week. Actually, I like to come back on a piece one day after, for refining it. I won't, anyway, able to complete this challenge, since we are leaving on the 15th for a fortnight.

I have been keeping this photo for a while under the elbow, and it was an opportunity to paint after it.I like the study of shadows.

J'avais gardé cette photo sous le coude depuis  longtemps, représentant cette jeune femme sous une grande chaleur, ça m'intéressait de traduire cette impression, avec les ombres.

Bon, la photo n'est pas excellente, car ce n'est pas sec, cela arrivera encore d'autres fois durant ce challenge, je suppose.Je la changerai plus tard.
En fait, pour ce challenge, je prépare plusieurs panneaux á l'avance (j'en ai deux sous le coude, commencés ce matin).
Sorry for the bad quality of the picture, I presume it will happen again in the future, since the painting is not dry, this effect depends in the thickness and the colour.
I have worked hard today, preparing 2 other paintings for the future.

30 in 30 #1# Challenge

I jumped out of bed this morning with, on my mind, the desire to subscribe to the new challenge proposed by Leslie Saeta. It was late, but I hesitated because I will be absent a part of the  month, so I ' ll have to paint more than one painting a day while here..it is because Leslie said: who will count your paintings? It's true , and at least it's a challenge!

So, I did it, followed the orders to subscribe, with a former painting which was on my blog , as a thumbnail. And what was my surprise to see that it was taken as number one of my 30 th painting.
I was full of shame, thinking that other people would think I 'd liked to cheat, so I remove it.
It's the reason why there is  a blue animal above my name.
And it was to notice that a lot of people have done as I did!
Well, never mind, there is my number one.

Ce matin ma première idée a été, au saut du lit, de m'inscrire pour le challenge de Leslie Saeta,; elle propose de peindre 30 tableaux en 30 jours.J'hésitais, car je vais m'absenter pour quelques temps à partir du milieu du mois, mais une phrase de Leslie m'a décidée: Qui ira compter vos peintures? En effet, l'essentiel est de participer, n'est ce pas?
Et hop, j'ai peint cette petite demoiselle dont j'avais la photo sous le coude , et pour demain je pense que ce sera une de ses cousines.
