Where are the children? hen #1
oil 6"x6"
Here is , maybe, the first of a serie of little animals, as hens, ducks, rabbits that I like very much. It is a change from my usual still lifes!
I like this, Sylviane! This is more abstract than some of your paintings...a different style for you I think? I like it very much. The two hens in the background are just suggested, while the center of attention is more defined. Well done!
Ahah, I love the expression of the hen! It reminds me of my feelings when I loose sight of my children, and I think "where the heck did they go now?" between the worried and the annoyed. Great job. :) Ciao
Your strokes here are more loose and that looks nice. Like you, Sylviane, I'm also in the current trend of making little animals...in ceramics. It is so much fun.
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog! I'm really enjoying your paintings. We live on a farm and your hens are very good. Someday I'd like to try oil painting. :)
