What about a fresh drink?
oil on canvas paper 7x10in
This was my last submission to ADNW, the blog of Lee Brown,a talented painter and photographer, living in Colorado.
The original picture was larger, I preferred to simplify the subject; it showed a box of wine , it seemed to me it was from Médoc, which is just on the opposite side of the Gironde’s estuary, I nearly can see it from my garden;the “hic”, for me, was noticing the bottle just outside the box :it was a Chianti..
Anyway , of course,it was pleasant to paint this still life.

Very nice! You did a great job with the copper pitcher and the reflections.
ReplyDeletewonderful... the copper jug is great.
ReplyDeleteThanks,Linda & Elaine!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Sylvaine, you really captured the look of copper and it's reflections!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful interpretation. Your colors are so pure, and your pitcher has all the right colors (pinks, etc) in it to suggest copper.
ReplyDeleteJuicy colors, nice reflections!
