This was my last submission to Paint and draw Together.After the yellow tulips, a pink one.
While painting it, I thought this one looked like a rose.Lela proposed to invent a background, but the inspiration was missing,and the leaf is weird anyway; obviously I spent my time on the flower, so the rest remained neglected, I am afraid.But it was a good exercise.

ReplyDeleteEn ce qui concerne votre tulipe rose,vous dites avoir travaillé longuement la fleur. Je pense que votre oeil était fatigué pour poursuivre au mieux avec le reste de votre sujet. Vous avez raison un petit verre de vin et hop les idées vont s'éclaircir... et peut-être serez-vous satisfaite. Ou bien il faudra y revenir.

Sylviane - you really painted the translucency of the tulip petals beautifully. I absolutely love how the light filters through them!
