I painted this one for the Virtualpaintout.I rarely follow this challenge, because the difficulties I have to find and keep a subject on Goggle map, where I spend too much time. This month was Arles, in S.O. of France. This place was made famous by
Van Gogh, who painted the bridge. On my painting, the specific mecanism is not very visible, I didn't find the right angle to see it properly, and I wanted to have the water and the houses on my view...
Beautiful colors ... great composition. Very appealing to the viewer.
ReplyDeleteSylviane, I am totally with you on the difficulty of the virtual paintout. I spend too much time on Google looking around and the angle of the picture never seems right! :) But I love your Pont de Langlois, the bright roofs and how the sky reflects on the water. Great job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Viviane. The water and red roofs add wonderful interest.
ReplyDeleteThis would be my...third attempt to leave a message. Each time it disappeared before I could type the required jumbled word.
ReplyDeleteI was saying that I love this painting, Sylviane. I also had difficulties finding the spot on the Google map that I liked to paint. But Virtualpaintout is quite challenging, so I hope to find enough time to do one painting for that website...some day.
Very nice!! You really did a great job with the challenge. I love your blues and the red roofs and how you lead the eye in with the road and water.
ReplyDeleteUn endroit que je connais particulièrement... Une belle toile où tu as su redonner la lumière qui appartient à cette région.
ReplyDeletegros bisous
