le pâté Hénaff

oil on canvas 6"x6"
This small oil was done for DPW challenge;this week, we were asked to think about our breakfast.
Of course, I would not recommend this recipe for a well-balanced meal, but it's just a glance at my region of origin, Brittany.
This product has been the same since 1914,and the design of the tin has not changed.Futhermore, it tastes delicious with a fresh baguette!
It is not rare, here, to find several good- smelling bakeries,  in the smallest village...

  1. Even if it is not a well balanced diet, I love pate on the baguette. Your pate makes my mouth water. Nicely done, Sylviane. I hope you receive this comment. Many times, my comments went out. Sometimes they just disappear...to where I don't know!

  3. Well done with your painting, Sylviane. You did an excellent job on the metal of the lid. I think pate on bread sounds great for breakfast. Maybe add a freshly peeled orange. Yum!

Milli, I went several times on you blog, and was unable to leave a comment, I don't know where it comes from?

  5. Very nice, and I'm not sure I even like pate. But I do like fresh baguettes.

  6. Ah!!! le fameux pâté Hénaff que j'ai découvert la première fois en allant rendre visite à mes enfants qui vivent en Bretagne...

A manger avec modération... mais à admirer ta peinture sans fin.
    Gros bisous
