TWILIGHT
oil on oil paper 5"x7"
This was done for DPW challenge this week, after a picture given by Jean Nelson, who painted a lovely one.
After an underpainting in Alizarin, I used mainly one flat brush, and ended with a knife.
Excellent interpretation, Sylviane! I went to the DPW website and looked at the original photo. I like the way you made it your own painting. I love the soft blues in the sky and water and repeated on the roof of the mill. Very nice!
I've enjoyed catching up with your blog, Sylviane! Pleased to see that you liked Sevilla . . . my daughter studied there for a semester and, of course, I had to visit . . . loved it! It's good to see all the work you've done!
Thank you so much for all of you, you are so cheerful, I am confused with your compliments, and my day's color was completely changed! You can come back!
