TWILIGHT

This was done for DPW challenge this week, after a picture given by Jean Nelson, who painted a lovely one.
After an underpainting in Alizarin, I used mainly one flat brush, and ended with a knife.

  2. Excellent interpretation, Sylviane! I went to the DPW website and looked at the original photo. I like the way you made it your own painting. I love the soft blues in the sky and water and repeated on the roof of the mill. Very nice!

    I love your work, you are a true colourist, your paintings sing, the colours vibrate, I know how a bee feels now when it sees a beautiful flower...
