Le vase et le melon

oil on board 8"x10"

At the beginning, I didn't want to do it, after a picture of PADT, I thought the vase was too tricky to paint. After watching some of the other painters, I gave a try and went on...and enjoyed it.
My cantaloupe's colour is more vivid on my painting, but I was unable to get a better picture, in fact it's not yet dry!

  2. I like it very much. I like the harmony of cools and warm melon, the range of the blues you use and the overall impression of this painting for me is "it is strong and bold".

  4. Bravo Sylvianne, you did a great job on the vase and the cantaloupe. Like you, I hesitated tackling the challenge, on my part, due to little time. But then, I could not resist and have started the painting. Am now only midway through, I hope I can finish by the deadline.

  5. Bonjour Sylviane!
